This is a single user app and I'm trying to save to Sesame\Data\Samples which is shared.

Serge

Shared does not equate to permission. What is the Start In directory setting in your shortcut?

You'r right, It has something todo with path. If I specify full path C:\Sesame\Data\Samples\MyFile.csv, it works. if I click on Sample in the ASCII Export box and complete... Samples\MyFile.csv, it does not work.

Thanks for the help.

Serge

<okay - another stupid question>  Steve, thanks for the explanation.  How would I end up with an unbound field?  I created these databases (10? 15?) years ago in Q&A and all fields are visible and used (they all save data and can be searched on later).

You probably don't have any. Why do you believe you do? Are you locking up when you try to export?
