Can you access the Sesame databases with Crystal Reports?  I'm familiar with that report designer and it would make creating reports easier.

Have you looked into using an ODBC connection?

I did check into using an ODBC connection, but wasn't sure where to look for a Sesame driver.  By default, it only lists Microsoft drivers for Access, Excel, Foxpro, Paradox, etc...  Any suggestions on this?

The Sesame ODBC driver is not installed by default. It has its own installation tool and appears on the Sesame install CD and is available on the website.

I found the ODBC install but I'm not sure how to set it up.  It asks for the following parameters:

Datasource:
Database:
Host:
Port:

See the posting that I made on ODBC,  on: Feb 5th, 2004, 2:23am , under the topic "Updated ODBC driver".  Link is:
http://www.lantica.com/Forum2/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=gen_disc;action=display...;

A few summary and follow up comments:

1.  I was ultimately able to make a good ODBC connection with Access and with Word.  I did not do much work with the final connection, just wanted to confirm that I could browse the data and use it in SQL queries.  No real hard testing for reliability, limitations, etc.
2.  There are some documentation errors in the manual.
3.  There are some additional "Known Problems" that are supposed to be fixed in 1.0.2.  You might want to know what they are before you waste time trying to accomplish the impossible.
