A report question.

I have a report that calculates (in the group body) the amount of fabric used based on two other elements in the group body.

The calculation works fine, but when I try to add a sum of the calculated element in the group 2 footer, the calculated element is not listed under the "bind element to" drop down list.

I'm doing exactly the same thing in another report for rubber and it works fine. 

Any idea why the element is not showing up in the "bind to element" drop down list?

Hi Paul,

Select your unbound value box in the group body.
In the Property Editor, switch to the Format Tab.
Change "Format Unbound As" to "Number".
Now when you choose Summary Calculation that element will appear in the "Bind Element To" dropdown.
