Number search problem

Dealing with a number search problem I've created a test application with only 2 elements: Number (added as a new number field) and Name (text).
I save it and in preview I enter number: 1 and name: gerard and save it.
When I go to search/update and I enter number: 1 and press F10 nothing returns. If I enter nothing at all or gerard in name it returns the correct answer

Make sure that the Number element is bound to a number type field.

I just ran the same test here on version 2.0.6, and it worked perfectly normal.

I have duplicated your problem, the problem has to do with the regional setting (Netherlands) I used "1,00" in the number field and it worked, I don't have a fix for you but I do know were the problem is located. Maybe Ben can chime in on how to fix this, my advice would be to change the regional setting back to US.  I'm using 2.06  Wink

What version of Sesame are you using?

As I remember this being fixed in version 2.0.6 for all formats that use the comma as the decimal separator.
