Problem with Net Use command in XP

Got new XP to use Sesame and Q&A use during transition. When I use net use, it gives me System Error 67.

NET USE LPT3:\\RECEPTION\IBM-PCL5 /PERSISTENT:YES

When I use net view command it show all four computers connected. The printer is connected in windows and I can print out documents from MS Word.  Does anyone has any idea or solution? Thanks.

Finally got it to work. One has to make certain that there are no space or hyphen in the computer or device name and there are spaces which I have marked here using ^ symbol

net use LPT3:^\\Reception\IBM5PCL^/Persistent:Yes

I am glad it finally worked. Sorry to say but the Technical Support staff had absolutely no clue. He thought "net use" is some program I was using and he was asking me who made it!!! What a shame!!

I spotted it right away and would have posted but you beat me to it.  Good work!

Whose tech support were you dealing with?

Gateway Premium Support. They are good with replacing the hardware. I thought, it was operating system issue, so they should be able to help.
