SBasic Help

I have, for the most part, been able to successfully set up applications, reports, mail merge, sort & retrieves specs, etc.. But, I am sure that there are even better and easier ways of accomplishing the way I have set up these functions. Are there any good books such as "SBasic for BIG DUMMIES" which would help in explaining such things as: var and  print strings, as I am somewhat clueless.

It is my intention to start offering classes in Sesame topics, including SBasic programming, once the weather becomes more viable for travel. The classes include coursebooks with lots of examples of techniques.

Inside Sesame has programming examples and tips every month.

There are sample applications, such as Sesame Seasons, that demonstrate various techniques in practical application.

There is a Programming Examples board on this Forum.

If you  have specific questions, you can post them here and we'll be happy to advise.

Have these classes been taught already?

Were will they be held?

Do you have any Ideas on the duration of the class, the syllabus and approximate costs yet?

Are these Lantica classes or third party?

Thank you.

A trial run was done for a group of about 10 people in Baltimore.

The ones I'm referring to will be taught by me in Hammer's facility in Ohio.

This will vary based on the topic.

I will probably do these as Hammer Data Systems, so they will be third party.

I have had the pleasure and good fortune to be in a class taught by Erika Yoxall. I found she has a unique gift for imparting her knowledge to her students. I left the class with far more knowledge and a far greater understanding of how to use and implement Sesame and  Sbasic. The documentation that was given in the class has become one of the most valued resources I have when working with Sesame.

I would highly recommend her classes to anyone who has a desire to improve their programming skills. I know I for one am ready for a refresher course and am looking forward to the start of her classes.
