Opening database thru multiple windows

How do I have multiple instances of the database open. I have been running Q&A 4.O for windows since it came out and am thinking of switching to Sesame. With the old Q&A, I would have two or three icons on the desktop so I could be doing various things all at once. I would have search up and would be adding a new record at the same time. Is this possible with Sesame?? I have downloaded the trial version and put two icons on desktop, but when I downsize the first window and try opening the same database with the second icon, it errors out.

Please advise??

When you go into Search mode, the database actually appears on a tab within the Sesame program.

You can also go into add mode at the same time. A new "tab page" will open and you can add records. You can bounce between the "tab pages" just as you would bounce between to actual windows or programs.

The tabs appear at the bottom of the screen once a form is opened.

Hope that helps.
