Trouble with  "Y" coordinate
Dec 5th, 2004 at 3:20am
Print Post Print Post
I am viewing a selected elements "Y" position in the Property Viewer as 698. When I change the "Y" value for the selected element to 700 in the Property Editor the element jumps off the screen several inches below.
The process works OK on some elements! Does anyone have an answer? (new user)

I reported a problem with Y coordinate to Tech Support a few days ago.

May be related, but symptoms were different.  I was seeing the Y value was much higher than the actual number expected.  The values in the Viewer were correct, so need to drop element and look at viewer to see real position.

(Using 1.0.5Beta)

I think we've fixed this one. Is has to do with whether the Form is scrolled. 1.1 should take care of it.

Yes this is fixed in 1.1.

In the meantime, if you type +2 in the Y Position and then set it, it will move the element correctly.

Hmmm. after reading the +2 solution I realized that the problem I reported was with the X coordinate, not the Y.

But hopefully, the "fix" in 1.1 took care of both of them.
