Closing unattended Sesame Database

We have an Inventory database with product information and transaction history. We also have light Inventory copy that is used by the 7 workstations, here and the other locations.  The light database has changes posted to it like the main database and a copy is made of it for searches only.

Transfers and Sales --- post to - Invent (the main database)
post to  - Inv-Rem (the light database)

Inv-Rem is copied to INVENT on cloud drive and a different directory for the work-stations.

Is there a simple way to close a database that is left open after a certain amount of inactivity time?
