In a report : Count two values in a column

My database is about opera performances I attended.
The database has a column which indicates if it is a new opera I attended (the letter “R”) or on opera I already saw.(the letter “Z”)
After each opera season I make a report with the operas I saw. I can make the total of all operas, but not the total of the new works (R), or the total of the works I already saw (Z).
I could do it with the old QADOS, but not with Sesame 2.
It must be a simple programming, just counting two separate values in a column, but I don’t succeed. I tried with the programming command: @CountStringArray, but the programming is not accepted.
Can a more experiences user of Sesame 2 help me with this simple problem?

Thanks.

Hi - I may be able to help. However, I'll at least need to see a sample of exactly what the report should look like, and probably need a copy of the database.
