Cannot display Button Panel

I added two buttons to switch view between Button Panel and Command Tree.  Going from Tree to Button is not working.

ButtonPanel(0) changes from Button view to Tree view.
ButtonPanel(1) removes Tree view and leaves a blank area.  Added ForceRedraw(), made no difference.

I can only get back to Button View by selecting an item while in the Tree view, like Search(F7).

(I wanted a single button to toggle view,but no command to show current view state.  Will toggle visibility on the two buttons to look like a single button)
