If anyone is interested, I've written a simplified CPU simulator that allows the user to learn some of the basic concepts involved in assembly language and internal workings of computers. The MooCPU is completely fictional as is its instruction set, yet representational of a real CPU, making it easier to learn how a computer works and how they are programmed under-the-hood.
