Here is an excerpt from the email invitation that I recently sent out to our SANE members. ========================================== All Sesame/Q&A users are welcome. This is an open invitation to our upcoming quarterly SANE (Sesame Associates of New England) Users Group meeting. Date:Saturday, August 3, 2013. Time: 9:30 - 2:00 Location: Main Street, Salem, NH. Site: Meeting conference room in Kelley Public Library. Cost: FREE ==================================== Some of the things we hope to discuss:
Sesame Release 2.5.3 Running of Sesame and Q&A on an iPAD and on Windows 8 and the Surface tablet. Running Q&A on 64 bit systems. Samples of working applications. Solving your specific problems with your applications. Discussion of Inside Sesame articles. Items discussed on the forum. No predefined agenda. You will determine what we do, The goal is make sure you learn something and have fun. Bring a Sesame file that you created from scratch. Bring a Q&A file with you for translation. Bring a Sesame file that you have already translated from Q&A. Most of all, bring yourself, your sense of humor, and the desire to explore these databases and have fun at the same time. If you know of any other users of Sesame/Q&A, copy this email for them and invite them to join us. Hope to see you there in two weeks! Bring your friends and associates, fun for all. Directions: Take EXIT 2 off Route 93, east onto Main Street (Route 97). From Exit 2, continue on Main Street, across Route 28, another half mile. The library is on the right, just before traffic signal, about 1 mile total from Route 93. Parking and entrance in back on lower level. Library phone is 603-898-7064. We have had people coming from all of New England and New York. Not a long drive, have a fun day.
