How do I upload a .jpg file at http://lantica.com/Forum4/public_html/yabbfiles/Attachments/

I believe, it involved attachment of a file. In that case, how do I attach a file to post to the forum?

Bharat,

As it turns out, attachments were allowed only in the main board "Lantica Discussion". We have now turned on attachments in all of the other boards, including this one. Please check and see if you can now attach image files.

Mark, Thanks . For some unknown reasons, I am not seeing ATTACH FILE option in my additional features on expanding - in any of the boards.  I have learned to live without that by uploading files on other webserver  and displaying image in the post here by giving that link. That seems to work adequately. Thanks.

Mysterious. We thought we had it when we found that each board handled it with a separate option.

I never used it either till you pointed it out. But I have several other web servers at my disposal. Most of our users here do not. We'll keep looking.

What web browser / OS are you using? Do you have Javascript enabled (you must)? There is a slim chance that the forum checks if it is possible, not stopped by a firewall, before presenting the option. Possibility?

I am using XP and Windows7.. on different computers. I have tried all 5 popular browsers... Chrome, Firefox, IE, Safari and Opera, the same result.  Javascript is enabled.  I have not tried to bypass firewall yet.

OK, Carl seeing it too was the clue we needed. It should be fixed now. Give it a try and let us know.

When we upgraded the forum to 2.5, a problem with the upgrade process did not bring over certain settings correctly. Carl and Bharat are both members of the Beta2 group, which was disallowed from posting file attachments.
