Hello Amor,

Can you send the DB and DAT files to support@lantica.com? Also include the s_log0000.log file from the C:\Sesame directory as well.

Have you been moving DB or DAT files around your system?

Ray asked:
Code
Select All
Have you been moving DB or DAT files around your system?

Why is that question relevant?
It is not unusual for me to move files around.
What is your concern about that?

Hello Bob,

Mismatched DB and DAT files are the most common cause of that error message, hence the question.

Is it possible to have the error message be less cyrptic, so that it actually says what it means? Wink
Oh, I don't know, something like "Error: Mismatched DB and DAT files." Grin

Just taunting you in good fun. Smiley
I understand that it may not be easy to know why Sesame got caught in a loop and ran out of resources, or some such thing. Even huge software corporations like Microsoft, with hundreds (or thousands?) of programmers, can't seem to avoid cryptic error messages.

I forgot to mention that Lantica's superior tech support more than makes up for one cryptic error message.

The best one is from the BIOS at boot time.

"Keyboard missing.  Press F1 to continue"
