Format number to text in Word

I am using WordMerge Lite in one of my applications and would like to know if anyone knows how to format a dollar value into text.  I have used the switch in Word to do this in the past, but can't seem to make it work with the "*field_name*'.   Anyone know how to do this?   Should I be doing this conversion in Sesame instead of Word?

Use the DollarText format switch.
