I have hundreds of Databases with hundreds of Report Specs.

Is there a utillity that can export a list of reports optionally showing if columnar or Cross-Tab, Fonts used, and number of fields.

Thanks
Dave

Dave,

Talk to your client. Because of the way Q&A does things, Q&A databases tend to accumulate dozens of reports that were needed once and never used again. You can usually just delete these. It cleans up the field quite a bit, especially if you are preparing for a translation.

As to a printout, check out www.johntdow.com. He has a product called DTFSPECS that may produce what you need.

Oh by the way final tally of report specs is 9,468.

Client not interested in reviewing. I'm requested to convert them just in case.

John may not be the best web site maintainer, but his utilities have been indispensible to the Q&A community over the years. You may want to get in touch with him. Ask about DTFSPECS.
