While adding tabs to a form I somehow lost a tab group "behind" the form in the DSR I am working on.  If I move elements off the form onto the general workspace the tab group will become visible but I can not work with it as clicking on it causes it to disappear behind the form.  I tried "shrinking" the form background to get to the tab group but I am not able to shrink it beyond where the tab group used to appear.

If this is not recoverable can someone perhaps tell me how I caused this to occur?

Hello Cliff,

Right click on the gray area surrounding your form
Choose "Select All Ghosted Elements"
The tab page should now be selected and you can move it.

What is happening is the tab group is not parented to the form it is parented to the canvas. When an element is parented to the canvas it is called a ghosted element. You will see it there in designer but not in runtime. Page 88 of the Sesame 1.1 User guide covers ghosted elements.

Thanks again Ray.  I experimented with the "ghosted elements" features as suggested and now understand how they work.  However, the tabs group does not appear available. 

Don't know what I did to screw this up but anything is possible.

Will recreate the layout likely easier...thanks...

I thought I'd feed back.  I think I may have discovered my error.
In my previous case I created the problematic tab group on the form canvas and then dragged it into the form.
Is it possible that parenting was lost/corrupted?
I have redesigned the form but first made the form background very large to accomodate edits and the like with the thought that I'd resize the form once done.
This may all be contained somewhere in the user manual...apologies of so...
