Every once in a while I like to print out a Forum thread, to have a hard copy.  Several problems occur when I do this:

* If I print directly from my browser, postings further and further down the page get "edged off" the right side of the page.

* If I copy and paste from my browser to MS Word, the entire text is reformatted so that everything appears, but the background colors of each post are retained as well, and, on printout, obscure the text.  I have yet to figure out how to remove these colors.

Any suggestions on what the best way to obtain a complete clean hard copy would be?

Hello Scott,

How are you printing from the browser? Are you using File->Print or are you using the Print Link which is at the top and bottom of every thread, which displays a page that looks like this
http://www.lantica.com/Forum2/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=gen_disc;action=print;b...
and then printing.

Yoicks, I never noticed that link.  That works great!  Thanks!

How about providing access to the forum database as a download?
