I was watching this weekend on TV one of the Texas-Hold-um finals. They were talking to the finalist about what they used to do before they became professional gamblers. One of the guys they interview was the main programer-developer for Q&A......so I hope none of the current Lantica prgrammers - developers get any crazy ideas and leave us hanging!!!!

From the article:
Quote:
While working at Symantec, now best known for its Norton antivirus software, Greenstein developed a broad range of personal computing products. He worked on one of the first search engines and almost single-handedly developed a word-processing program called Q&A that, upon its release in 1986 with Greenstein and family pictured on the box, was named PC Magazine's top word-processing program of the year.

Hard to imagine Q&A being considered a state-of-the-art word processing program.  Was it the inclusion of the thesaurus that put it on top?  Wink
