Ray -
This is sooooooo frustrating, I can't possibly describe my feelings. First a little background, just cuz I feel like "venting" (but I will do it politely and appropriately, I hope).

When I originally installed Sesame, I put it in my C:\Program Files\ directory, because that's where every other single program I have is installed ... and that has become (and has been, for quite some time now) the "standard" for the Windows industry.
Obviously, though, for some reason, Lantica recommended putting it in the root directory. So, all this time I have been "out of synch" with everyone on this forum, Insider examples and sample files, etc. etc.
So, a few weeks ago, I "bit the bullet" and changed Sesame to C:\Sesame. It took two days of "cleanup" work in programming, icons, etc. etc. to have everything working properly but I did it.
So, when I got up this morning and saw your response, I thought "great" .... now your answer was easier for me to implement because Sesame was in the "default" path.
So - I ignored everying else in your response and "went for the gold." I changed the label on my static image led to read "data\pics\officedepot.jpg" - selected preview application, ran the report and WALLA - THERE WAS MY IMAGE. At that point, I was ecstatic. After two short weeks, a "payoff" for having put Sesame in my root directory. My only mistake (and oversight was that I had tried either the full path name ... or just the picture file name and never tried starting with "data").
Sooooooo, I quickly and excitedly SAVED THE DESIGN LAYOUT, closed the the design tab and reconciled the database. This is a procedure I have done hundreds of times, so I know that I can do it correctly.
I quickly and eagerly, opened my database, selected the report in preview mode and
GOOD GRIEF there was
NOTHING in the header where the Image should have been. After the initial panic, I thought "wait" perhaps it is simply a graphic display problem (or whatever) so I tried printing the report. NO GRAPHIC.
I must have gone through the redesign, reconcilde, print procedures a dozen times to be sure I wasn't overlooking something really simple - in my haste and excitement. NADA
Please, DO YOUR MAGIC! I want this image on my report - and I would like to "present" it to someone later this morning.
Thanks! (and sorry for all the extraneous junk - just needed to spit it out and be done with it "once-and-for-all"). lol
Oh, by the way, because this didn't work, I went back and re-read your repsonse. I did check my application image path and the . (just a dot) was in it.
