Changing Element Type

I created elements as Text but wanted them Combo Boxes. I went to manage database but there is no option to change it to Combo Boxes. How would I Do this?

I find the simplest technique is to create a Combo box and Bind it to the field that the text element you are replacing created. Then delete the text element.

Remember Elements and Fields are different in Sesame, Many elements can relate to a field.

Hope this is somewhat clear.
