Sub-totals in Reports

In Q&A I had reports which produced reports with Totals,SUB-Totals, Counts and Sub-Counts. Sesame seems to allow only Sums and Counts. Is there special programming needed within the Report Writer to obtain these Sub-Totals and Sub-Counts.

If you put a Sum in a Group Footer, you will automatically get a subtotal whenever that Group breaks. For Grand Totals (up to and including 1.0.4), put the Sum in the View Footer. In 1.0.5, you can make the Grand Total line up with the rest of the report by creating a Group that never breaks and putting your Sum in the Group Footer for that Group.
