unreadable characters

When entering data to an application, the characters are fragmented and unreadable, while in a layout element.  After leaving the element the characters become readable.  This happens on only one of three computers used in the application.

It makes data entry error prone and almost impossible to avoid errors.

The display monitor and adapter card have been changed with no effect.
Has this happened to anybody else?

The computer shop has tried everything they can imagine, and bet it is a program problem.

Help is needed asap, since deadlines are coming fast.

Thanks!!

What is your display resolution and color depth?
i.e.  1024x768 at 24 bit color

Is it all LE's? Or only certain ones?

The problem was his computer did not have the Lucida Console font that his elements were trying to use. He switched to Arial font and can now see the data.
