Scroll Bar bug in subforms

Mark,

There's an annoying bug that I want to know if you will be correcting for the next release. It occurs with table view subforms.

If the table of data is wider and longer than the subform window (giving you scroll bars on the right and bottom), and you have focus in the first row, then click on the right scroll bar, focus changes to the row of elements under the scroll bar (highlighting the element at the top of that row).

The reason this is annoying, is that this causes the first row I am trying to view to go out of sight because all the subform rows shift to the left every time I try to scroll up or down.

It seems as though the scroll controls are "transparent", whatever is under them also responds to the mouse click.

BTW, Clicking on the bottom scroll bar also will change which row has focus. And if the edge of a row is under the right scroll controls, you can get the double-sided black arrow that will allow you to actually change the width of a row right through the scroll controls.

Carl,

I'm not seeing this in 1.0.4 or 1.0.5 using Countries.db application (the record for Brazil scrolls and I increased the width of the City LE so it will scroll in both directions). Can you send a sample application where this effect is appearent to support?

Mark,

I can still make it happen with Countries.db application.

You probably increased the width of "Cities" far beyond the right scroll bar, which means that you would still be clicking within the Cities row.

Try increasing it so that just the "P" of Population is visible, so that the Population row is behind the scroll bar. Focus should change to Population when you click on the scroll bar.

I see it now. In your original post, you have "rows" and "columns" switched. I kept looking a row to go out of sight, but it is the column (horizontal scrolling) that goes out of sight.

I'll see if there is anything I can do.

I've been wrestling with this as well. Hope to hear there's an easy fix.
