background color on subform

Print Post Print Post
In printing current screen that contains a subform containing
line items the subform portion background is composed of grey dots.
How do I get rid of them and have a white background like the rest of the form?
I am usinfg print form or print form to default from the record commands.
I have tried everything I can think of in order to overcome this problem.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The "dots" you are seeing is the printer trying to estimate the color of the background of the subform. Which kind of subform is it (table or form view)? Have you tried using "Print Form (No Background)"? You could also try setting the background color of the subform to white, if you are in form view.

I printed using "print form (no backgrounr)" and the back/fill color for layout is 255,255,255 which is white as I understand it  but the subform appears with the grey when displayed on the main form.

It is a table view subform like the one on page 52 of the Quick-Start Tutorials.

Since it is table view should I assume I can't get rid of the background color ?

I'm looking into it. At the very least it will take some programming because it is a table view.

Sorry I couldn't get back to you right away. Everyone is swamped with the upcoming User Conference.

Thanks - My objective is to keep customers application the same as their translated Q&A app. I really want to make some changes in programming to make more efficient and would like to keep the printing of invoices from screen shot the same as it is now. No hurry though and if too much programming is involved I will manage without it.
