i'm following the example in appendix 2 of the programming guide and am encountering some problems.

i have to click on the View Merged Data button in Word to see the document with the merged fields, should they not show up once Word is opened? also, I can't seem to merge more than one record, only the first one seems to be created eventho all records appear in the data file.

how does the program know which data source file to use? (i don't see reference to the file name in the @Shell command-pg.231)
